A Canadian rapper, singer, and actor by the name of Aubrey Drake Graham was born on October 24, 1986. Drake, a significant personality in modern popular music, is credited with making singing and R&B influences more common in hip hop. Drake launched a music career after becoming well-known for playing Jimmy Brooks in the CTV adolescent drama Degrassi: The Next Generation (2001–2008). In 2006, he released his debut mixtape, Room for Improvement. Before joining Young Money Entertainment, he released the mixtapes So Far Gone (2009) and Comeback Season (2007).

Who discovered Drake?

Jas Prince is the one who discovered Drake in the late 90’s. James Prince established Rap-A-Lot Records in Houston in 1986 to assist musicians looking to get into the business. Since then, the business has built a 30-year reputation as one of hip-most hop’s significant labels; the founder’s heirs would probably inherit this reputation.

A 19-year-old Prince started looking for an artist of his own to nurture in 2007 at his father’s request. In her search for a potential customer on the internet, the adolescent came across Drake’s Myspace profile, a Canadian artist.
