A 59-year-old man was found dead inside a car that had been engulfed in flames in front of his home near a Brooklyn cemetery Monday night, cops said.

Ruben Silver’s body was found around 7:30 p.m. in the driver’s seat of the parked vehicle – which had burned on Marginal Street near Highland Boulevard in East New York, bordering The Evergreens Cemetery, cops said.

Once the FDNY extinguished the blaze, Silver was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS, police said.

The FDNY’s Fire Marshal will determine the cause of the fire, and the city’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will make an official ruling on how Silver died.

The NYPD could not confirm Tuesday morning whether criminality was suspected in Silver’s death.
