Bruce VilanchBruce Vilanch has written for the "Quadruple Crown" of awards shows - The Oscars, The Emmys, The Tonys, and The Grammys.

He has co-written the past thirteen Academy Awards telecasts, winning consecutive Emmy Awards for the Billy Crystal-hosted shows. Vilanch has also won an additional four Emmy Awards for Outstanding Variety Shows.

He is the focal point of the riotous documentary, Get Bruce! a look behind the scenes with the famed writer. The documentary features a virtual who's who of Hollywood, including Bette Midler, Billy Crystal, Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, and dozens more. His book, Bruce! My Adventures in the Skin Trade and Other Essays, is a compilation of his funniest and most wicked essays, stories and gags.

He continues a limited engagement tour starring in his one-man show, a new bio-comedy in which Vilanch takes a peak at his encounters with Tinseltown. As an actor, he has appeared in The Morning After, Mahogany, Bosom Buddies, and Ice Pirates.

Currently full-time head writer and semi-regular celebrity guest on the hit syndicated Hollywood Squares, Vilanch has also written or co-written The Daytime Emmy Awards, People's Choice Awards, American Comedy Awards, CableACE Awards, SAG Awards, and many others.

He also writes for such charitable events as AIDS Project Los Angeles' "Commitment To Life," Project Angel Food, and AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Formerly a feature writer for the Chicago Tribune, Vilanch continues to contribute to the Advocate and The Los Angeles Times.
