A very well-endowed mom who avoided breast-feeding her kids for fear her massive chest would suffocate them finally plans to go under the knife to downsize, because she feels like a “freak show,” according to a report.
Rachel Ryan, 26, of south Wales, said her back-breaking 38HH breasts prevented her from breast-feeding her kids – Layla and Ollie, now 6 and 5 – and have continued to make life difficult.
Among other problems, Ryan said she has “faced daily sexual harassment, from shouting in the streets to physical groping and humiliation,” the UK’s Mirror reported.
Her parents decided to pay for her roughly $8,000 breast-reduction surgery on Monday to reduce her size to a more manageable 38DD.
“I tried to breast-feed my children but my breasts were too big so I couldn’t,” the college student from Carmarthen said. “The top of my breast would cover their faces, so I was nervous that they would be suffocated by it.
“And the milk would come out too fast because of the size of my breasts and they’d start to choke,” she continued. “It broke my heart not being able to breast-feed and also, because of the back pain I constantly had, I missed out with being able to play with my children.”
Ryan said her breasts have caused sciatica, and neck and shoulder pain, as well as a growing hump on the back of her neck.
“Having constant back pain made it unbearable to exercise, so I couldn’t lose the three stone (42 pounds) that I needed to,” she said. “Alongside my breasts causing me an issue with my children and my health, it gave me a lot of unwanted attention.”
She said she looked forward to finally being able to wear “girly clothes” and to ditch sports bras.
“I know that I’m going to feel amazing, as my breasts have always been the one thing that have held me back,” she said.
