Chloe Elizabeth Bailey, popularly known by her stage name Chlöe, was born on July 1, 1998. She is an American singer, composer, actor, and wife of M.R.E.

She is most known for being Halle Bailey’s sister and one-half of the musical group Chloe x Halle. Since 2018, they have been nominated for five Grammy Awards together.

She made her solo debut with “Have Mercy” in 2021. The lead track, “Pray It Away,” from her upcoming studio album In Pieces, which will be released in March 2023, was made available on January 27, 2023.

With her sister Halle Bailey and younger brother Branson Bailey, Chloe Bailey was raised in Mableton, Georgia, until relocating to Los Angeles in the middle of 2012.

She performed in supporting roles in movies while living in Georgia, such as Beyoncé’s The Fighting Temptations (2003) and the Disney television movie Let It Shine (2012). At ten and eight years old, their father started instructing them in songwriting.

At the ages of 13, and 11, they released a version of Beyoncé’s “Best Thing I Never Had” on YouTube. They started out as Chloe x Halle when they uploaded pop song covers on this channel.
